How Treendale Technology collects, uses and looks after your personal information.
Last updated: 4 November 2026
Who we are
Treendale Technology, Kiosk 1, 10 The Promenade, Australind WA 6233 (Treendale Shopping Centre). Phone 0477 456 777, email treendaletechnology@gmail.com. Our sister store is Dalyellup Technology; both stores are run by the same local business and may share customer records so you can use either store, for example for warranty claims.
What we collect
- When you book in a repair or buy from us: your name, phone number, email address (if you give it), your device details, the fault, the work done and payment records.
- When you use our feedback page: your star rating and, if you choose to send a message, your name, email or phone, your message and job number.
- When you contact us: the details in your call, email or message.
- Your device: during a repair we may need to turn on and test your device. We only access what we need to test the repair, and we don’t copy your personal files unless you ask us to.
Why we collect it
To carry out and record your repair or purchase, contact you about it, handle warranty claims and feedback, write reports you ask for (such as insurance diagnosis reports), and keep the business records we must keep by law.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We only share it when needed to provide our services, for example with our email and website providers, with your insurer if you ask us to send them a report, or when the law requires it.
Your device and its data
We do not look at, copy or keep photos, messages or other content on your device; we only test its functions. Your passcode is used only to test the device before and after repair. We may photograph the device’s condition for our records.
How long we keep records
We keep your signed repair work order securely: the paper form for 12 months, then a scan in our system. We do not sell your details.
Website
Our website doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security. Pages with an embedded Google Map load content from Google, which may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and to delete or de-identify it when we no longer need it.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by contacting either store. We’ll respond within a reasonable time. If you’re not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
